Emilie is a litigation attorney with a primary concentration in personal injury and insurance coverage defense. She joins Subashi, Wildermuth, Justice & Epperley, after spending 3 years in criminal litigation. Emilie was an Assistant Prosecutor for the City of Dayton, where she prosecuted misdemeanor crimes ranging from minor car accidents to vehicular homicides. During her time as a prosecutor, she spent countless hours in the courtroom and gained valuable trial experience.
While working at The City of Dayton, Emilie was a recipient of the Joseph T. Cline Award. The award recognizes city employees who exhibited excellent performance. Emilie was chosen out of 30 nominees and was the first city prosecutor to have ever received the award. She achieved this within 2 years as a city employee.
Emilie was born and raised in Urbana, Ohio. She attended Wright State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in Psychology. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and received the pro bono award at graduation. During her time in law school, Emilie was a Court Appoint Special Advocate (CASA) for Montgomery County, a member of the 2021 National Mock Trial Competition Team, and was an officer of the Women in Law and Leadership organization.
Emilie currently resides in the Dayton area with her husband and son.
